Above is what Lily and Mum did at Mother's group yesterday. Dad has put it up in his office at Mission Australia. In a more detailed report, the other mothers were doing the 'my baby can do this and my baby can do that' routine but their babies were all quiet and docile. Bec didnt have to say a thing about Lily because she was saying it all for her. Apparently Lily didn't shut up and was talking for about 30 mins solid making all the other mums jealous and amazed as to how talkative she was.

Seeing as Lily was the youngest baby there it was an amazing effort.

Lily has been pretty good lately. She has been increasing her feeds and is taking the extra milk pretty well. Lets see if she will have a growth spurt soon. She can be very cheeky at times too. Who does she get that from? Her Mum or her Dad?

Today she went to a Parents as teachers mothers group and apparently (in a report from mum) was very talkative the whole time telling anyone who wanted to listen how she was in her own language. They did some craft today. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

A lovely little family

Lily survived her immunisations. I'm not sure who made the most noise her or her mum but Lily certainly gave a mighty cry when she had the needle jabbed into her legs. Lucky dad was the holder of Lily while she was jabbed and as soon as we left the room where the nurses were doing the jabbing Lily turned off the tears and settled into looking at all the lights in the civic centre. She met her friend Calli-ann who is the baby of a set of parents from our ante natal classes.

After such a tramatic event Lily thought she would sleep from 7.30pm to 6.30am when dad woke her up to see if she was ok. She told dad that she was fine and just wanted a feed.

That is it for jabs until the next lot of needles in 2 months time

Breaking news!!!!!!!!

Lily slept from 7.30pm to 4.30am!! That is officially her longest sleep since emerging into the world. Mum and Dad are quite impressed especially when she wanted to go back to sleep for another stint.

Tonight Lily has her 8 week immunisations and mum is worried the little lady wont like it. Dad has been charged with holding the little lady while it happens. Im sure mum will be outside cringing for her.

An update to come on the needles

The lovely Lily went to see the paediatrician last week and was given a good report. Mum was told that she is a bright little baby that requires a lot of variety in her surroundings otherwise she will get bored and restless. This made mum very happy to hear she is a bright baby.

On Thursday night dad and Lily made a present for mum's birthday. We put an imprint of Lily's hands and feet on a canvas for mum to hang in the house somewhere. We put the words I LOVE MY MUM under the imprints. Mum loved it and cant wait to put it on the wall.

Sleeping is becoming better and she has been moved into her own room and doesnt seem to mind a bit. She really enjoys looking at the moving pictures on the tv and looking outside at anything that moves.

She had a visit from Geoff and Viv on Saturday arvo and then went to their place for dinner on Saturday night. She found it really boring and slept pretty much the whole time.

On Sunday she had a visit from Clint, Michelle and Lachlan who is 1.5 years old (could he be a future beau?)

Lets hope she continues to sleep well and loves her mum and dad

Lily has had an exciting few days.

She visited her new 2nd cousin, Miriam, at Calvary hospital. Miriam is Mike's cousins Steve's newest addition to his family.

On Saturday night Lily went to the rugby at Connolly Park to watch Reddies play tumut in a semi final. Reddies lost in the dying seconds which was a little disappointing but Lily found it boring as she slept through most of it.

After the footy Lily visited Olivia at her new house in Tatton. They had a mini sleepover while mum and dad checked out the Hunt's new house. Both girls seemed fairly comfortable with each other. Lets hope that they become good friends and have many sleepovers.

On Sunday night Lily went to Adelong for a night with granny and grandpa Taylor. Today she has a six week paediatrician appointment with Dr Thambapillay. Mum and dad got in trouble off him at the hospital for the dryness of her skin so lets hope we get a better report card today.

Lily had her first big drive this weekend. Unfortunately we had a car accident on Friday night just north of Bookham. Everyone was ok but it was a scary time.

Dad had to go to Sydney for some training with work so Lily got to go to the Davis grandparents to stay for the weekend. She slept in her own room for a couple of nights and was a good girl for most of the time. Both Pauly pop and granny Sue loved having a hold of The lovely little lady.

On Friday and Saturday she visited the cousins and great nan Balantine up Ingleburn, Mac Fields way. On Saturday night she went to the pub for a meal with James and Heather.

Below is a picture of Lily with the bears on the lounge. Can you find Lily amonst all those bears?
