Holding hands with James
with Grandad and Grandma
In her new swimsuit With aunty Dee
Having fun with cousin James and dad

On the weekend Lily had a holiday in sunny Young. She went to Young to attend a 60th party for Mike's Uncle Jim. She was one of 3 babies that were passed around for most of the night and fussed over by plenty of people. We stayed in a motel and Lily was very well behaved and only woke at 5.30am for a little while before sleeping through until 6.30am.
On Sunday we went to the JJ Granger residence for a Welcome home party for cousin Sarah. Lots of photo's were taken and some are above. Lily tried on the swimsuit given to her by Grandma Davis but wasnt too keen on the pool as the water was quite cold. She didnt have a good drive home as she cracked it about 2/3 of the way home and needed to be talked to for the rest of the trip.
Lily has started to stick her tongue out at people and had fun holding hands with cousin James. She seems to have the front to back rolling worked out but the back to front roll is proving a challenge. She enjoys saying hummmm and chewing on her bottom lip. Mum thinks she is saying mummm. That suits dad fine as she will be calling out to mum at night before too long and dad can get more sleep.

Lily seeing bubbles for the first time
Enjoying her toys
Lily has had a pretty good week. She has been up to her usual tricks of waking and talking to herself at 5am in the morning, chatting most of the day when awake and she has now increased her bottles to 200ml (approx). She loves going to the gym with mum and having some time in the creche while mum does her fitness work. Mum enjoys seeing Lily have a good time too. we think she may be teething a bit more as she has some huge tantrums that seem to come out of the blue.
Today she went for her first garage saling trip. She wa sin the middle of one of her tantrums so wasnt too impressed but I'm sure she will be a regular with her mum when she gets a little older and dad is at golf. Next weekend is the family gathering for Uncle Jim's 60th. Lily will see all her family again and get to know them a bit more.

Lily taking over Grandad Taylor's chair
The Little Cutie
Lily has had a visit to her grandparents in Adelong. She stayed the night after the Melbourne cup and mum and dad went out to dinner. She missed our For Sale sign and tree on the corner of our block being burnt. Bizzaire occurance and if the little punks get caught by dad theyll pay for it. So after some tree surgery by dad and a phone call to the real estate to replace the sign all is well at 54 Maple rd.
With her new teeth Lily has taken to putting everything she can hold in her mouth. Hurts when that thing is your finger. They are sharp little teeth. She has decided that day sleeps are boring and just lies in her cot talking to herself when put down for a sleep. At least she is happy and healthy. That is all that matters.

Lily's new lounge she will be getting for christmas.
She's a little monster!!
Lily had her 4 month needles on Friday 3rd November and didnt like them one little bit. She had a huge cry and didnt want to look at the nurse that gave them after she had had them. Every time the nurse came near her after the needles Lily started crying at her loudest until the nurse was out of her sight. We also had her weighed and measured. She was 6.47kg and 61cms.
On Saturday Mum and dad had a look in an open house just around the corner from our house at the moment and Lily got to ride in the pouch facing out. She loved it as she could look at everything. On Sunday we went to Carly and Paul Hood's for a BBQ and look at their photos from the trip to Europe. Lily and olivia Hunt got to spend some time together and seemed to get on well for most of the arvo but Lily got scared at one stage by Olivia and had a big crying match. They had a sleep and forgot about it all though.

This photo was in the Daily Advertiser on 1 November 2006. It is our little family at the Outdoor and Leisure show that was at the Botanic Gardens in Wagga Wagga on the weekend. They asked us to pose for the photo because Bec had a sausage sanga in her hand and we were a young family which they reckon is what the whole show was all about. The picture took up most of a page of the paper. Pretty impressive hey.
